Reading the latest post on Copenhagencyclingchic concerning cycling in Denmark in the rain it struck me that since the weather is one of the main reasons people won’t commute by bicycle, and since Manchester is supposedly very wet, it follows that this might be a prime reason for why Mancunians don’t commute by bike much. So I decided to look at the statistics.
